Hi All! We hope that you enjoyed Passover and Easter and are having a great Spring! It's that time of year that makes everything feel new and bright and happy! And it just happens to be the height of Wedding Season in South Florida.
Today we thought we would talk about Wedding Favors.
Favors are usually one of those items that couples think about at the last minute...and then the questions become...
1. Do I have to do Wedding Favors?
2. How much should I spend on Wedding Favors?
3. Should they be edible or something more fancy?
So, here are our thoughts on Wedding Favors.
1. They are not required but are always a nice touch.
2. An edible favor is awesome....because you know it will be enjoyed...and you can be super creative with it!
a. We have had cookies decorated with college mascots
b. Salt water taffy from a specific store where the bride and groom lived
c. Cupcakes in the bride and groom's favorite flavors
d. Warm chocolate chip cookies handed to guests as they leave the wedding
e. Cake pops that look like a little bride and groom
3. A favor doesn't have to be fancy..though we have seen gorgeous favors such as murano glass wine stoppers. It's about your budget and the overall theme of the wedding.
4. A favor that does double duty is great...check out the mini-champagne bottle/place cards below.
Whatever you choose, make sure it fits your personalities and your budget and don't be afraid to be creative! Check out these examples of some of our favorite favors below!!
Cheers!
